nobody has any hartke gear on the list - would it be worth having a hydrive cab there to demo so fellow basschatters can experience the total lushness of hartke hydrive 4x10?

ive only got a basic ha2500 head at moment but it would be interesting to hear how the hydrive cab performs with some higher end heads up against other cabs?

i could also bring the stone clad TRB if y'all want to point and laugh B)

The Amber Trust seems like a good cause to me and being music-related is always a good thing..

So how about that and the DPAC (Disabled people against cuts?

...I'm getting worried about Plux's lack of commitment - to being a boring old fart of a bass player that is.. :D

Well, 9 amps seems a little excessive, but it's going to be very entertaining..

Perhaps chimike needs to wade in here as he had at least that number of amps (or was it full-blown rigs) at the SE mini-bash in Littlehampton last November!

Are we saying we are going to try and get a meaningful comparision between 9 amps, or 9 rig combinations (amp + cab)???

Because I reckon most people struggle to get something meaningful with an A/B test, an A/B/C test is really tricky, an A/B/C/D test is just about impossible.

Should be an interesting couple of hours then :D

Could get pretty boring that way, if we were to just do the comparisons people ask for we may yield more interest and a better response.

For example, how does an S12 compare to an Ampeg 8x10? (I havn't looked at the list so it's probably not possible but you get the idea).
