Thought I'd say hello. I'm a bass player in Glasgow. Been playing since I was a spotty youth but gave up for most of my twenties, but back now playing blues and rock at home and ridiculous hair metal dressed as a viking in public.
I play a 1989 Musicman Stingray I've had from birth and a Rick 4001 v63 that I picked up almost by accident in New York and turned out perfect for vikinging with.
I'm looking finally to trade in the Musicman for a Jazz after years of meaning to.
I'm just new, but been having a look around and this is a great forum, it's smashing there's so much activity and helping each other out.
Well, hello,
Matthew

Wilkommen, bienvenue! I've only just arrived myself. Please drive on the left.

A music man and a Rick - one bass I've always been intrigued by and one I'd probably cry if I were lucky enough to own. Is nice!

Dalry eh? my stepdad took me to an amateur footie match a wee while back, it was Beith vs Dalry, honestly you'd have thought those two next door towns were seperated by ideology, some of the stuff that was going on was just mental.

Anyway I'm more civilised,I'm from Killie and up to my knees in Ayr blood :)

Ah the diplomatic and cultural nirvana that is the Garnock Valley. On a Saturday night in Dalry its like Beirut without the heavy weapons. China Cross ya bassa.
