Just wondered if anyone can recommend any good albums featuring Andrew Gouche on bass?

not sure which Chaka albums but try some of Chaka Khans live stuff... check him out out on these two classic Chaka tracks.. awsome playing.. imo hes one of the best gospel bassists alive.. his playing ALWAYS has me interested.. this is THE man to listen to if you wanna nick some licks and fills....[media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biJVcXWlZpo[/media]

I thought you might know a little about him Bub! I've looked at quite a few YouTube vids of him, and he is just incredible. Not only is he very technically capable, but every lick seems to really come from the heart and be perfect for that moment.

I read that he used to be Chaka Khan's MD for her live shows. I also read on talkbass that apparently her "one classic night" live album is the one to get, but I'd love to hear a really good studio album (and maybe somone other than Chaka) with him playing on it.

He makes me want to tune down a tone...... dunno if the low A would work on a 34" though!

I've got the live album with Chaka and he is great on some songs (and very good on all of them!).

Saw him as her md at Shepherds Bush a couple of years ago.

He's a nice guy too, very friendly and just loves to play bass

His new MTD signature is pretty nice too
