ShergoldSnickers
'Twas my youngest son's 16th last night, so we set the bass rig up in the garden as a makeshift PA for music. The volume on the amp - an Eden Traveler WT550 didn't go beyond 10 o'clock and it was plenty loud enough. With a bit of cut around 160Hz and 300Hz, the sound - whilst not purest hi-fi, was actually far better than I expected. The cab likes getting some volume up before it really shines, but shine it did. Bonus.... the outside party bit ended well before 12 due to rain, so still on speaking terms with the neighbours.
gafbass02
I must admit, I've toyed with using my Bergantinos as a vocal pa before now
JTUK
I am sure a few cabs could make a fist of it...but that is about all, IMO. But then you can say that about a lot of dedicated P.A cabs as well.
