EdwardHimself Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 You can have your status mate; I'm not into these new-fangled "string basses" anyway...
bobpalt Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012
I want this! http://www.bassdirec...tatus_S2_4.html But this is only possible if you want to buy my Lakland Jobo 5 in Natural Ash with Bartolinis and an Audere preamp. ABS case included! Pictures to follow. Simple! £895 There's something about Father's Day that makes one irrationally aspirational!
Shame I didnt know. HazBeen Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 This was a passive bass originally right, still have the original EQ?
okusman Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) No. Sorry. Felt this was the weak link and so relaxed it all with the excellent Audere. It was the standard vol/vol/tone. Edited June 28, 2012 by okusman
HazBeen Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Well with Barts and an Audere it basically no longer is a Joe Osborne, solid active jazz bass I'm sure but I am quite saddened that passive is seen as a weak spot. Sorry Mr Osborne
okusman Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Sunday evening bump...Remember, I'd trade for a Status Series 2/Empathy, if you had one lurking... Edited July 1, 2012 by okusman
okusman Posted July 2, 2012 Author Posted July 2, 2012 Not sure what to say to that Paul Clifton. But I'll go with 'with panache'!
martinbass7750 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Great sounding bass, even with Audere! Have a bump on me Mark

Paul Clifton Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Can't understand why this is still hanging around - great basses
