Clarky Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 (edited) I bought a fretless U-bass a few months ago on a whim but it just sits in its cute little padded case un-played as I have been concentrating on double bass and more recently my 5-string bass. Someone else should have fun with this. Its in very good condition (no point taking a pic as its looks just like a stock one) and the advantage of buying it second hand rather than new is the rubbery strings have stretched somewhat and so don't go (quite as) quickly out of tune! They go for £339 including post at BassDirect http://www.bassdirec...lists/Kala.html so how about £260 handed over (I am in London) or £270 posted? Clarky Posted June 17, 2012 Author Posted June 17, 2012 Thanks and here's a little clip to show one in action (not me playing - I don't own such a classy shirt) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1PbnbbIpEw

Peaty Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Went to a choir festival to see my kids sing this week. The base player in the accompanying band was playing one of these and it sounded great.
