FlatEric
I was watching Vintage TV, the other night - usually some interesting stuff and you get to see kit that bands were uing years ago. Moody Blues were on twice and in both videos, John Lodge was playing this: I tried to pin down what it was but without any luck. Any ideas? I also came across a nice Twin Neck, whilst looking for the P. Interesting! Cheers. Kiwi
Looks like a heavily modified Fender Precision Elite II to me.
Yep, that's where my thoughts were but I'm not certain that it is.
Kiwi
The pot locations match, the pickups match. There's an additional bit of scratch plate and clearly its routed for another pickup. Why look further?
BigRedX
Weird though that he felt the need to add a surround to the bridge pickup.
cocco
I thought Elite II Aswell, but the bridge doesn't look right to me, I know it could be a modification.
RhysP
Looks like a mixture of a Precision Elite II & one of the original Precision Specials (that's what the bridge looks like it came from to me). Actually, looking at the bridge baseplate again it could even be a Kahler bass trem. Edited June 18, 2012 by RhysP
Ou7shined
.... .....
And when I wear this one it hurts right along here. Btw I don't think it's an Elite II pickguard... it's very similar but the lines are slightly different (especially the lower horn) and the switch next to that rear pot is pulled back a little.
