looks lovely- btw what do you mean by "the bass has been upgraded to EMG's" - wouldn't the EMG's be stock? or do you mean just the preamp?

The original pick-ups would have been Seymour Duncans (so I'm told). The guy who bought it from new said he found the SD's didn't 'cut it' for him so they were upgraded to EMG's.

This isn't a purchase its an investment! I've seen some of these with Seymour Duncan pups that actually have small switches on the pup that let you alter the sound, quite novel.

Seems a bit odd, my '87 JD Thumb has EMGs in (which were definitely there from new).

that's what I thought, and then did some research and found out you did get them with the active duncans the ones with the wee rockers on them
