slapierro Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 (edited) Hello to all Basschater this is a rare LEJ6 because Classic but with a body top wood and in 33'' scale, it's not a short scale but a 6 strings very comfortable to play,no more strech out arms, it's a compact size, the body is mahogany with a quilted maple top and a brown burst gloss finish, a three pieces maple neck and fingerboard with block inlays and biding, all the hardware is all Hipshot, pickups are Benavente and the 2 band preamp by Glockenglang and Benavente: 2 volume,a push/pull active/passive tone and a boost/cut stacked for bass and treble, the rear strap piece is moved away from the center for a best neck balance and i've never saw that on a LEJ, the compact bass is a real pleasure to play with a smooth jazz sound but punchier if you boost the preamp, i'm living in Paris,France but no problems for a safe send, soft bag and box are here, in fact Chris Benavente builds the LEJ and B.Barrett put together the whole stuff, the whole bass is mint,no dings or scratch,etc... there are 3 pickguard: tortoise, black and clear, i would like to sale this bass for €1950 + shipping price or £1600, thanks for having a look Edited June 25, 2012 by slapierro
