Old Horse Murphy
I'm currently borrowing a SR5 from a mate of mine (34" scale) and want to string it with flatwounds. I've had a SR5 in the past but struggled with the tuning/intonation of the B string when I've used flats. Any recommendations for the best, highest tension flatwounds I could try? alanbass1
Rotosound jazz 77's - highest tension strings I have ever played for a 45 - 105 gauge. I assume they do 5 string sets

Delberthot
The Rotos are totally smooth, quite high tension and the best sounding of all the flats I've used but I would say that Chromes are the highest tension
Tankdave
LaBella James Jamerson set.
deepbass5
Have tried Thomastik and Roto 77 real smooth flats but preferred Elites ground wound ss best for tone and perceived tension 45 -
