Extremely rare, full original and official Wal MK2 Geddy Lee transred with the black stripe on the top and back + neck and headstock finish in black. Specs : Produced by Pete "The Fish" Stephens himself in may 1993. - 4 strings - Very nice Sycomore top and back in transred with black stripe. - Mahogany core - Indian Ebony fretboard - Black laquer coated neck and headstock finish - Black and gold hardware - Weight : 4,5kgs/9,9pds on bathroom scale The bass is in excellent state, exceptional for a 19 years old bass (only 2 very small dings under the backplate and on the elbow cutaway, professionnaly repaired and stopped : non evolutive). Kev
First bass to make my jaw literally drop in a long while. Stunning instrument. Only comment is that the action looks quite high in the last pic in the first post; just the camera angle or do you just like to play high? elbassisto
- Kev : The pics were taken 2 or 3 weeks ago, before the bass was fully settled last friday by my luthier (adjustement, new strings, cleaning, ... prepared for the sale). Now there is about 3mm at the 24th fret (it is possible to low more but, with my way of playing, it is not recommended and I'm not thincking that it would be better for playability and sound). - Happy Jack : I'm in the north west of France in Bretagne / Vannes Edited June 19, 2012 by elbassisto

Btw you might be interested in this if it's 5 string Wals you're after - noticed it earlier this evening - http://www.bassgear.co.uk/products-page/pre-owned/bass-guitars1/wal-mk-ii-1993-pre-owned/

MoJoKe
By the way, love the Wal. I used to have a bookmatched Olive Ash pair (fretted/fretless) of Mk1's, but sadly not in the Wal owners club for a while....
Babelfish translates it as "The Brass band in Detonator", but I think it might be ruder than this...! Perhaps the OP can help here! Find them here: No bass guitars to be found here, but good nonetheless!
