I'd snap this up, but as usual, I'm skint until next Friday. As used by Gary Moore, et al apparently. Sounds the business with bass too, I've been told. Ou7shined
Bloody things are like busses, there's one for sale on here too. I have one in better nick than both... and in it's original box. To be honest I think there are better distortions to be found for bass. I use mine in conjunction with my Unibass (for the octave/guitar out channel) as the built in distortion is pants. It really does help make it sound more guitary.

Ou7shined
That's basically the reason I bought mine. Don't get me wrong they do get you a good Timmy C gritty sound (with a Stingray at least) and retain the warmth from your bass. But as I say these don't tend to offer you much more than "the Marshall" sound... which ain't a bad thing if that's all you need. They really do a fantastic job of dirtying up a guitar for that classic 70's sound though so if you intended to use it for both then yeah. Mr. Foxen
Note first one linked is made in Korea, and the later one is made in England. Not that it makes any actual odds, compared loads and there is as much variation in ones made in the same place as between the different places. I happen to have a UK-built one, so am vaguely interested, kind of in the same way that I am about house prices, even though I don't have any plans to sell mine!
