Rob8 Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Hey everyone, I'm Rob. I've only been playing bass for a couple of months but am loving it! I started playing guitar when I was about 12 through to when I was 16. Then GCSE's came up and the parents thought that that was more important... how wrong they were. Anyways, in the last two years I've been doing a music tech course and got back into playing although I basically forgot nearly everything I'd been taught, mainly because my guitar teacher was pretty bad to begin with, i.e. only learning tabs, not learning scales, chords, notes, where the notes on the fret board were, how to tune, proper finger placement. Pretty much what you need to know about playing guitar. I'm now (trying) to teach myself both bass and guitar and getting a little help along the way with a couple of fellow basschatters. Just thought I'd properly introduce myself. Quote
