V4lve Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Apologies if this is a double post. Though I had already posted today but cant find it. I am looking for a cheap DI with eq. This has EQ, speaker sim and headphone out. And all for 50 quid. Have found a favourable review and it seems Moen pedals are OK. uncle psychosis Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Never tried one myself. For a cheap EQ/DI box I use a Hartke Bass Attack. About £40 to £50 second hand. You might also like to check out the Behringer BDI21 which is a copy of the Sansamp BDDI. Lots of people round here rave about them. Quote
Jack Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 There's a Thomann one too. Just food for thought. Quote
paul_5 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Not tried one. Looks like It'd be more useful than the BDI21 (behringer) though, as it's got a 'mid' frequent control, not just bass and treble. Once again - hooray for dirt-cheap ace pedals Quote
hamfist Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I got one of these Moen EQ/DI pedals recently, and I am very impressed. I recently tried a WMD parametric EQ pedal, which was excellent, but I just couldn't justify spending £150 on an EQ. SO anyway I got one of these to try out. Very useable fixed frequency bass and treble controls, with an excellent parametric mid control. Good DI with speaker emulation and headphones out. All for about £50. Low noise floor. Does what is says on the tin. thoroughly recommended. Mine's staying. Quote
