mingsta Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Hello!!!! I've recently moved in to a new house. I've managed to blag a little corner of the lounge to keep my bass stack. Problem is, the acoustics suck in the section, so I'll need to push it out to the middle of the room for practice. Does anyone know of any roller/trolley type things that I could buy to make moving it around easier? Talk about a flat tray type thing with wheels on each corner. Ta! Ming Quote
Delberthot Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 (edited) If its just for moving it in the house, how about those things you get out of argos for moving washing machines? Edited June 24, 2012 by Delberthot Quote
TimR Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 The tray flat thing with wheels in each corner is called a dolly. Loads of places do lots of different types. You just have to know that they're called dollies so you can google them. Quote
Walker Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Made one of these last week. Got a blue wheels kit off eBay , with all the nuts an bolts, and bolted to a lump of thick ply. 30 minute job, worth every minute! Brilliant as my rig is rack mounted and it's easy to get to the back. Get 100mm wheels. Great for gigging too. Quote
KevB Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I'd get a sack truck, saves your back physically lifting it onto a dolly and useful for gigging or other load shifting jobs. Quote
WHUFC BASS Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 why don't you put the bottom cab on casters ? That'd be the cheapest option anyway Quote
