How much should I pay for a maple precision neck ?

ok - I was offered it by a friend of a friend - i have only seen mobile photos. It looks straight and not battered, with a 60s/early 70s style headstock and dots. I dont have a lot of cash kicking around right now so cant afford to be choosy

On another note, does anyone know what the correct type of sunburst and scratchplate colour /logo style for a 73 precision is ?

I thnk black pickups are correct with non-reverse elephant tuners.
