nobodysprefect
Got this from mr. Ganseman here. Great bass, but I made the terrible realization that I'm too used to six strings and don't want to switch between the two, which is the reason I'm putting it up for sale so soon again. Here's the FS thread.http://basschat.co.u...wal-basses-mk2/ From that thread (quote) Anyway, let's stop the bla bla.... The red wal : 1987 Mahogany body Olive facings Indian rosewood fingerboard Gold hardware Gloss finish On this bass, the gloss/gold hardware and red paint would all be extra and would literally cost you a kidney.... [endquote] More pics at http://s626.photobuc...2/prkl0405/Wal/ The bass is in very good to excellent condition, I'll try to get a decent photo of the very slight discoloration on the heel. Hard to get it to show properly. Other than that, the finish is absolutely fantastic, never seen its like. No issues that I can detect. Comes with the Wal case. Asking about 2800 pounds but would of course listen to any offers. I think I'm pretty well set as far as music stuff goes, but a trade down to a stingray or two + cash would of course work well. I'm leaving for a conference tomorrow, June the 27th, but can ship today or tomorrow or Tuesday next week. Roland Rock
Wow, I've never seen a Wal in that dark red before, and it's so much nicer than the normal natural wood finish IMO. Kind of like a super EB3. Lovely
pierreganseman
for being the previous owner. That bass is not that dark at all. Deal with ville with confidence : easiest deal i've ever done

molan
Another vote for Ville as a great guy to deal with - very 'British' sense of humour as well, has often raised a dry smile when we've chatted by email about stuff
