Have Fender black nylons changed?

I don't think so!
To bring people who haven't heard or don't care up to speed, there was a rumor going round that Fender black nylon strings had changed.
I've just taken delivery of a set from Stringsdirect and they would appear to be the same as the set I ordered in October 2010. Shiny , black and with a textured surface.
I've not put them on a bass yet and probably won't for a while , I just bought them as a security blanket because I have some well paid gigs on fretless coming up.

Your nylons look just fine as they are. No need to change to Fender.
