G.D.
I was reading some threads here about Soundcloud and other self promotion sites. Reverbnation is becoming more popular and offers some nice social media integration tools. Part of the Reverbnation process is to count individual visits, song plays, fans and Facebook likes and then compile a local and national chart. For bands that are interested in this (and I fully appreciate that is not everybody) then we could use this thread to help cross promote each others bands. For those that don't like Reverbnation, self promotion, charts, rankings, Marmite or music, simply walk on by to the next thread. Simply post a thread here with a link to your Reverbnation page to allow Basschatters to visit, play and like your band - in return do the same back to the others in this thread. The more people that get involved the faster your promotion. Remember give and you shall receive ! To kick it off, we are a dark, atmospheric rock band, working with our new singer at the moment and there are three rough demo's (without said singer) up to listen to. I'm always open to messages and comments. http://www.reverbnat.../huntedbyangels Thanks GD Edited June 28, 2012 by G.D. indiegrungesound
Not bad at all gentlemen! Not what I'd go for normally, but not too bad at all! (Though I must say Christhammer, your lot scare me a bit! ) I've not been on here for a while, largely due to various duties in my two bands. Then I saw this thread. And seeing the band that HAS a Reverbnation page are playing their debut gig in July, I thought it'd be rude not to join in. My band are called Twisted Machines. We sound like my username. Feel free to check us out here: http://www.reverbnation.com/twistedmachines I'll get the rest of the boys in the band to give you both a head's up! pietruszka
Good idea. You've each gotten a like off me. We're Chloe And The High Tides, EP out on iTunes and Amazon this Saturday. We're sort of a new take on soft country rock. http://www.reverbnation.com/chloeandthehightides Dan

Dom in Dorset
I created a page a couple of years back for my solo stuff and I tried to create a second page for my band recently. I started the new page (no content yet) but can't seem to sinc the new page with the band's facebook page. I only seem to get my original page to sinc up to it. any Ideas? I could live without the original page now if I had to.

G.D.
Bloody hell ! I just had to pop down to Southampton to pick up a new studio computer as my old one had blown and there's already 10 replies. I wasn't expecting that in a week. Anyway i will get around to listening and liking everyone as time permits. GD

charic
Hunted By Angels - Quite like your stuff, look forward to hearing the tracks with a singer. Would quite like to hear a track with a bit of "groove" going on at somepoint as I caught hint that it was there in the Liquid Black Demo 'Liked' on to the next band ______________________________________________________________________________ Jethou - This is the kind of stuff I wouldn't mind listening to in the car but it's too distracting for while working 'liked' ______________________________________________________________________________ Twisted Machines - Great music, I really like it! G.D.
Hi guys, thanks for the great response so far and I'm glad others think it a useful idea. I have listened to every track and every video by everyone today whilst re installing my entire studio collection on my computer. What i thought might be a bit of a strain has been really enjoyable and it has been good to listen to styles of music that I wouldn't normally and be able to think "I like that bit" etc. I haven't liked anyone yet on facebook as I haven't fully sorted that out yet, but I will do once I am on top of things. Thanks to Charic for taking the time to personally feedback to everyone and lets all keep up the work of supporting and promoting each other.
