bubinga5 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Are there any bass/music shops that do finance deals on instruments... a friend has asked me, so i knew where i might find an answer... he specifically after a Lakland 55-02 deluxe any ideas..? Edited June 28, 2012 by bubinga5 Quote
simwells Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Many of them have options, one to consider is that there's a government scheme for those 18-25 or buying for someone under 18 that gives you 10 months interest free. Quote
discreet Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Andertons and Dawsons do, to name but two. I'm sure there are lots more. bubinga5 Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 im thinking that a 55-02 Deluxe from those could be tricky...? Quote
Mornats Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Bit of a trek but J.G. Windows in Newcastle and the Metro Centre do finance (they did it for me on my £300 Dean and I'm above the 25 year old age for the scheme mentioned above, and it was 0% for 10 months). Quote

stingrayPete1977 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Guitar Guitar stock Lakland, not sure of the models but definitely do payments on the knock Failing that there is always a bank loan, cash is king as they say! Quote
chrismuzz Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Anderton's do! I got my Stageclix there on the 9 months 0% interest thing. And you don't have to be under 25 either! Quote
Chairleg Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I bought a VM Jazz from Andertons using the 0% finance option. Absolutely no problems setting up the agreement on line (worryingly easy, no wonder folks get into financial difficulty). You have to spend over £300 pounds to use it and place a minimum 10% of the total cost as a deposit. You have the option of increasing the deposit to reduce the monthly payments. Quote
thisnameistaken Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 MOR Music in York do. Not sure if they can sell you a Lakland though I've never seen one in there. Quote
dmccombe7 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Mark at Bass Direct does the "Take Away" finance if you are between 18-25 or buying for someone of that age group. Dave Quote
D.I. Joe Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I seem to remember one of the guys in Hartnoll's in Plymouth saying that they offer interest free finance. They have shops in Torquay and Taunton as well. Quote
