Jack
Hey guys, like a few of you I use my bass rig as a hifi/computer speaker/game console sound system etc a fair bit. I saw this 20W mini amp on ebay and thought it'd be perfect if only it had proper speaker outputs. I'd also love a proper quarter inch input too, then it could be a bass amp too. Both of these are easy enough to do with converters but if anyone knows of a similar unit with better ins and outs I'd love to hear about it. Matt P
that appears to be a t-amp (or a clone) there are plenty on ebay, that's the first one i've seen with a built in radio as well, to use it as a bass amp i'd put something in-between the bass and the amp, a pre-amp of some kind would be best but a small pad mixer would also work (and would have phono outputs as well) the choice of t-amps and thier clones is huge, some are available direct from the far east (like the one you posted) and some are available from uk re-sellers, these often have the bonus of a uk spec power supply and faster delivery but with a slightly higher price. i've been looking at these for a while to use with my computer but haven't got round to pulling the trigger as the current powered speakers i'm using are still doing sterling work and all the spare hifi speakers i had lying around have been sold to my mates. Let us know how you get on if you buy, i'd be interested in the sound quality that you get, Matt (edited for spelling) Edited June 29, 2012 by Matt P

Al Heeley
oo-err, not a very fair comparison when you look at price tags. £15 on ebay or £190 from temple audio :/
krazy_olie
I have one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-T-T-Amp-HiFi-Audio-Amplifier-5A-PSU-TA2020-IN-UK-/170861399700?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_Amplifiers&hash=item27c8220e94 Very nice amp but never considered plugging a bass in to it.
