After lots and lots of swearing and mess I now have a stripped naturally body. As expected the grain is nothing to write home about but wanted to treat the wood to make it look shiny (for instance like the VM squier natural jazzes) cuz at the moment its just like the maple neck/board and looks tooooo natural if you get me Cheers Si Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can get clear acrylic or polyurethane in rattle cans, PU has a bit of yellowness to it, or you can get nitrocellulose if you have spray equipment. 10 or more light coats with gentle wet'n'dry rubbing down in between, really need a clean dust-free environment, well ventilalted.
