fuzzylogic
Hello fellow bass chatters The bass looks marvelous in the pictures but looks even more strking when you see it with the naked eye. The condition of this instrument is excellent with no dings. Soundwise, it has a beautifully balanced 70s Jazz bass tone. The tonal controls are smooth even when the treble is turned up and does not sound harsh. The quality of this instrument really shines in a band mix and the output across the frequency range is very well balanced and doesn't need much E.Q. to balance out string volume. Weighs in at 10Ibs or there about but has great balance. Hardshell case included (not celinder). Danish ash body: Translucent red with grain of wood visible (see pics) Maple neck and fretboard Celinder pickups Greengrove pre-amp. Made in Denmark and standard fit on all the Update basses. This is the later model with adjustable dip switches in the cavity. Celinder bridge Hipshot tuners Pickup controls: Pickup volume for each. pre-amp control, treble control Estimated date of birth: 2008/09 Price: £2000 Daz Edited July 23, 2012 by fuzzylogic

lozbass
Absolutely wonderful basses - undoubtedly my favourite of the modern Js. There's something a bit different about the way that a Celinder sits in the hand - I'm not sure what CC has done with the ergonomics but these basses have a wonderful feel either sitting or on a strap
