Doctor J Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012
the cut out for the none existent truss rod adjuster
Ehhhh... that's where you put the allen key to adjust the truss rod so you don't have to take the neck off. BigRedX Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012
I know your a Fender/conventional bass basher but I have to agree on one thing this time, the cut out for the none existent truss rod adjuster would piss me right off!
I have a Hartke bass with this design for adjusting the truss rod. Unfortunately because of the size of allen key required to do the adjustments the cut out wasn't sufficiently big enough to fit the allen key without taking the neck off anyway. Quote

Not arsed either way, personally, once it works Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 It's just a much better design, once some ham fisted get has muched the wrong size allen key in the bolt head and then leant it against the body cavity making sure to chew all that lovely pink wood up it will look poop Quote
Doctor J Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 Was it here or TB where some fella was complaining that shop shop had made sh*te of his wheel and chipped paint under it during a setup? It's easy to botch both designs in the wrong hand, but the point is this thing is pink and I like it! Quote
alyctes Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 I like the pink Jazz. Not sure about the matching headstock though. Quote

Doctor J Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 Agreed. The matching headstock is what makes it all work. A matching neck might be too Easter Bunny, though Quote

LiamPodmore Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Hot Pink Jazz, Maple fretboard with black blocks, or plain maple. Matching headstock, all matte black hardware. My dream bass, don't be ashamed. Liam Quote
