Stingray pick-up / preamp

I took the Ray to rehearsal tonight. It sounded sublime through my live rig. It's the first bass, including my Stingray5 and my old Hot Rod Precision that has prompted a 'that sounds nice' response from another band member. It's also the only bass that our vocalist, who is also a bass player, has asked to 'have a go on'. I'm even more of a Stingray fan now than before.
