wateroftyne
Lovely, lovely heads these. 300w might not seem a lot these days, but in this faddy environment of inflated micro-amp wattages, it's worth pointing out that these are 300 hairy-arsed Mesa 'man watts'. I regularly run mine at 8ohm, putting 150 hairy-arsed Mesa 'man-watts' into a 2x10, and I've never struggled for volume. Have a bump.
Clarky
If I hadn't just bought a MarkBass combo I would be mightily tempted by this as - in retrospect - my old Walkabout was the nicest, valviest sound I have had with a bass
Scooby
Cheers, Guys. I used to use a Walkabout Scout combo too and simply 'wow'! Always gets very positive comments from the sound engineer to the grouchy muss at the back of the pub
CBbass
Great heads, I know because I use one! Good luck, whoever buys this will be pleased.
