Fender Jazz *Custom Built* !

For a guy who's so good at building custom basses you would think he could manage the right screws to hold the thing together - photo 4 !

Anybody local that could go test it? A gentle tap on the back of the head should do the job (the bass not the builder) although

It look's like he has overcooked the countersinking on the neckplate as well as using the wrong screws-IMO

An Allparts blocked neck cost about £380 new. For that you get the rest of the bass as well and a case. You'd have to provide the correct neckplate screws yourself of course. When you think about it it's a pretty good deal but I doubt he's get more than £380 because people don't like bitsa basses.

Handsome guitar though. The decal is fixable. I reckon the neckplate is for show and placed overhead existing one. All in all could be a good buy for someone.

looks like a good deal, thats a hours work to sort out when you get it, ill image he will pull it though as he won't get much over his start price
