Dood
Funnily, I sold my old Zoom 9050 rack to a guitarist years ago and I was amazed to find that he still had it recently, so I asked if I could borrow it to reacquaint myself with 'the old days'. It sounded quite cool with a certain 'lofi' DSP character. I have to say the bubble burst when I compared it to my Nova System! Wow. we really have come along way in terms of technology! Ant
I like the look of those 9050s! Ive wanted one forever, I like the lofi sound
paul_5
I had a Zoom 3000B for a few years a while back and that was considered 'quite posh' by a guitarist friend of mine. I've also had Zoom ice lollies that were (to be frank) a bit disappointing.
dogload
I have to disagree. In my younger days I was a long-term fan of the Zoom lolly, whilst I have had two Zoom multiFX and the novelty soon wore off.
paul_5
Dunno about the zoom lolly; I always preferred a Fab or the humble Minimilk.
cheddatom
I had a GFX707 which I modded with extra footswitches so I could move up and down banks. I absolutely loved it. A friend of mine borrowed it years ago and he hasn't given it back
MoJoKe
Dunno about the zoom lolly; I always preferred a Fab or the humble Minimilk.
Nothing humble about the Minimilk... Understated deliciousness, the god of lollies!! I always through they should do a Maxi milk!! yorks5stringer
My Zoom is only used for its tuning capabilities now: inexplicably all the FX seemed to have stopped working...and yes I've tried a reset to factory settings and not turned the volume off! Commando Jack
Zoom lollies paled in comparison to Polly Pineapples, but I loved my old 707II. It was the perfect thing to learn what each effect did (whether it was good or not) and decent results could be had if you gave it time and effort. Booooooom
My Zoom is only used for its tuning capabilities now
Same here. Occasionally play with creating new patches (octaver-based) or on the rare occasion I use an effect live its usually the factory preset B5 for a bit of funky squelch or A2 for something a bit harsher (not saying either of them are brilliant patches but good enough for my (very) occasional needs). Use it more when noodling around on a guitar tbh.
