gapiro
Line 6 Variax Bass 700 in Black. For sale: Variax Bass 700 in Black. Minimal usage, just a few rehearsals and practices. I am selling as I am looking to simplify my rig and have my eye on something else, I can't keep collecting basses! This bass is a lot of fun, looks good and makes great sounds. A modelling bass, it aims to recreate the sound of some classic electric, acoustic and even synth basses: 1961 Fender Jazz 1960 Fender Jazz (flat-wound strings) 2004 Fender Deluxe Jazz 1961 Fender Jazz Fretless 1963 Precision Bass 1958 Precision Bass (flat-wound strings) 1977 Musicman Stingray 2003 Modulus Flea 1971 Rickenbacker 4001 1963 Rickenbacker 4001 (flat-wound strings) 1966 Danelectro Longhorn 1963 Hofner 500/1 (flat-wound strings) 1963 Gibson Thunderbird 1966 Gibson EB2D (flat-wound strings) 2002 MTD 535 2003 Warwick Thumb 1978 Alembic Long Scale 1984 Steinberger XL2 1968 Hagström H8 1994 Hamer B12A Tacoma Thunderchief Kay M1 Double Bass Mini Moog Modern Bass Synth This guitar is pretty rare now, as they have stopped manufacturing them, so here is your opportunity! Includes the original gig bag (which is actually the best bass case I have ever owned), the power supply / DI unit – plus a decent stereo cable for connecting this up and the user guide. This bass has a great neck and is in near perfect condition, no dings or scratches and has been looked after well. The only thing I have ever had to do is spray a wee bit of contact cleaner at the bridge to get rid of a slight bit or crackle on one string which it had when I first got it (from the Bass Gallery in London) since then it has been absolutely fine. This bass costs about 700 new, I paid 550 in a shop so I am selling for £450. Prefer Collection in Cambridge, can meet within a 30 minute drive of Cambridge, any further or courier at buyers cost. Here is a basic video demo I have done: http://videobam.com/sbrJk Edited December 28, 2012 by gapiro
