You don't get them talked about on here which I find strange as they have crafted there very own sound around some very driven and powerful bass lines.

Chris is a fantastic bassist.

I've never been a fan of them and was disappointed at some festival coverage of them in the past. Although our band does a cover of Fire which I really enjoy playing and doing the Backing vocals. At first I was was not into the original and it was down to their sound and pace. Ours is true to the original format but feels more lively.

Yeah I'm a big fan. Saw them play in Cardiff last year and thought they had a great live sound. They do come up with some interesting sounds.

I used to think they were just another band,but they have proved me wrong,i quite like them now,they seem to get away with being some weird 90s band in the 21st century.

I don't really enjoy their recorded music as it always seemed a bit limp. However, the songs are solid and I really enjoy covering them (we do Fire and LSF at the mo).

I sold a bass to them last year. Which was cool. I'm not really a fan though TBH, never been really in to indie.

Yes I quite like some of their stuff, we do Club Foot which is good fun to play, and sometimes put Shoot the runner in the set too.

I used to be addicted to Kasabian's first album, they had a very distinct, sort of eerie sound which I was hooked on. They had some fantastic basslines to boot.

Their live gigs really had a big impact on me looking back...they were the first band I saw live and it has stuck with me ever since.

However, after the departure of Chris Karloff I felt their sound changed quite drastically and I really couldn't get into their new material at all. It's a pity as I really did love them.

About the same. When they're on, they're on... just it's one in four, or thereabouts, these days.
