NPD - EBS Metaldrive

Purchased from our own SK8 this arrived yesterday and it's a beast some of the sounds it produces are insane. The more extreme options wouldn't be particularly useful in many settings, but it is very versatile from a gentle overdrive, up to a very high gain fuzz.

I bought it to improve my tone for doing Hysteria live and it does the Muse sound very well.

I also had a lot of fun with the following signal chain:

B-standard tuned G&L L2000 (both pickups on, in series, active with treble boost) » EBS Multicomp in tube-sim mode » Metaldrive with the gain up » Tech 21 BDDI with the gain pushed into my mixer with headphones.

The filthy doom riffs I was playing with this set-up were great :-)
