Line 6 Transmitter Strap Holder?

After yet another u-turn, I've gone wireless again and picked up a Line 6 G30 system.

Rather than clip on the transmitter or stick it in my back pocket - anyone got any recommendations on a strap holder? Ebay is quite bare on those available.

If you use a leather strap the slots in it are perfect for the G30 clip

Great tip! I have just bought a Line6 unit and have one of these camera cases already - didn't think to use it but absolutely spot on!

Incidentally - the Maplin small flight case [url="http://www.maplin.co.uk/small-flight-case-222024"]http://www.maplin.co.uk/small-flight-case-222024[/url] is pretty much an exact fit for the Line 6 G50 and all its snugly fitted packaging - drops straight in from its original box (with a small surplus on the side). A little extra padding on top or underneath makes it perfect.

IT has a clip to attach it to the strap, yes, but I (and others) think it looks rather flimsy, so I avoid using the clip and I have a holder instead. I use one of these:

Had mine attached to the strap with the supplied clip and when I spun round it flew across the stage and my bass went strangely quiet.

I knocked this up out of an old leather strap. Works quite well.

They all noticed. The sudden lack of bass, me rushing across the stage to pick it back up, plugging it back in again and trying to fix it back on the strap, failing and just sticking it in my pocket. At least we all laughed about it, including the audience, I did feel foolish.

A sweatband works for me

The clip on the transmitter does come off to enable you to rotate it through 90 degrees. It's very fragile though...the plastic on the housing is very thin, but once on it's fine. Otherwise, sweatband or tape.
