paulie Posted July 8, 2012 Share Posted July 8, 2012 I have a Cobalt Blackbox which is a handmade pedal and sounds very close to a Sansamp. To be honest I have never heard of the Cobalt Blackbox - but if its good, well made & does what a Sansamp Driver does then I am definitely interested! I'm really surprised nobody hasnt snapped this up. Great piece of kit for not much cash. Humpty bumpty in the meantime! [/quote] These are great for active instruments as well. I used to swear by mine when used with a Stingray and and active 5 string jazz bass with an East preamp.
