Edit:

I am currently giving this bass another shot and surprisingly it's coming along quite nice.
It is no longer for sale although I would consider trades.

As far as trades go I am looking for Laklands, MTD Z 5 or 6 string, Ibanez Prestige BTB series. I prefer wide but flat necks.

It's a sweet sounding bass, I bought it about 2 months ago.
The craftsmanship is amazing, Ibanez made hell of the job with the Premium series.
Nordstrand pickups make it a very versatile instrument.

please see the link for the tech specs:

Bass is in mint condition, I've played it in my church few times, other than that it did not leave my living room.
It's an amazing quality instrument, it competes easily with the much more expensive boutique basses. Unfortunately I cannot get used to the slim neck with my gorilla size hands. I've tried to get used to it but it just ain't for me.

Anyone givin it a thought, i will attest to this being incredible.

Im currently playing the 4-string version, and its went from country to rock to wedding bands and allsorts sounding and looking great.

I used to play Warwicks exclusively, and this is pretty much every bit as good. Never played a more comfortable neck either.

Superb. Go for it.

I just sold my Lakland Darryl Jones to enable me to buy the SR1205 - still getting used to it to be honest but I think it will be good. Pity, we could have perhaps traded if I had seen this!

Thanks guys for the free bump:).

Markus, yes this bass is absolutely amazing. The EQ with the Nordstrands can dial pretty much anything, from classic PB and growly aka Jaco to super slap tone. Unfortunately after years of owning MTD I cannot get used to Ibanez neck.

I just got back from the church where I played my good old MTD Kingston 5 first time in 2 months and I am blown away...it felt like home:).

White Cloud it's a shame mate...if your DJ was a fiver that would be probably done deal:).

I am going to bump this again...purely because I gigged my new SR1205 last night and have played it all day today - and it really is an amazing bass for the money. Plays better than my old Wal did and quite frankly is a huge amount of bass for this cash!

Unfortunately last few days were quite demanding at work and did not have time to take good photos. I found this on my imageshack account...will do for now hopefully I can provide an update tonight.

I own the Prestige 4005E and just wanted to say that Ibanez's high end basses are just amazing. I've always been a fan of them and after finding myself being able to afford one, waited and waited for the right one to come along and it was well worth it. £700 is an absolute steal for such a beautiful and well made bass.

Thanks Jellyfish. This truly is an amazing instrument, both premium and prestige series can easily compete with boutique, much more expensive basses.
