Sean
A friend of mine snapped the neck on his Gibson SG about 8 years ago, it was repaired in a similar way to this however it was much more severe than this looks and it had to have filler added to replace lost bits of mahogany. I remember looking at the SG thinking, there's no way... Eight years on and he's still gigging that guitar regularly with no problems. This G&L is maple necked and much more robust than that brittle mahogany neck on the SG. I'd buy it if I was looking for an L2000, it's a bargain.
