tayste_2000
A question to very few forum members but which gig bag for those 36inch scale 4 inline monsters I'm currently using a fodera double bag which holds 2 ok but I've started riding my bike to practice and I'm wondering if there is something more comfortable and better built? I know incase won't fit, the harvest/overwater bags do but have very uncomfortable straps, I also think mono won't fit and I'm not a fan of Ritter as they seem to fall apart of me. Any ideas would be great. Cheers
BigRedX
I'd be interested in the answer to this too... I've just done a gig where I had to travel by public transport so the usual semi-flight cases I have for my two weren't at all suitable. So I can tell you for a fact that it's two inches too long to fit in a Mono M80 case. I managed to get it into my old Ritter gig bag but only just and it was a bit too much of a tight fit for me to be really happy about it, plus I appear to have exactly the same problem with the Ritter bags as you do since the straps on mine have all but disintegrated. Anyone else?
tayste_2000
So gutted about the M80. Yeah if you have an older one which we both do the angled headstock in a stuff case is very worrying. I'd buy a Mono M80XL single and double in a heartbeat, along with some pedaltrain bags in case Mono are listening
tayste_2000
I sent an email to Mono re something akin to an M80 XL they say they have no plans at the moment but if enough people show interest they would look to add it.
BigRedX
I'm not entirely convinced about the feasibility of a Mono M80 XL. I find that my standard M80 is already at the boundaries of what is comfortable to wear on my back. And the Overwater is heavier than the Gus that I usually carry. tayste_2000
Probably best to just sell me all your overwaters then
tayste_2000
Did a bit of research and it turns out my Fodera bag is an Undercover bag, might invest in a single version if I can find anywhere selling them.
