If they're your cup of tea, the Stranglers - Black and White. The solos in Curfew and Walk on By, the intros to Toiler on the Sea/Enough Time/Death and Night and Blood, the lines on In the Shadows and Do You Wanna...and of course Nice n Sleazy! All fantastic, IMO the best album of theirs basswise.

Hiromi - Voice - Anthony Jackson on bass, some stunning playing on here.

Hiromi - Spiral - Hiromi's best album IMO, Tony Grey produced some of the most incredible bass work ive ever heard for this one.

Dream Theater - Images and Words/Awake - John Myung. His best bass work is on these 2 albums, essential listening IMO

John Patitucci - Heart of the Bass - One of the best bass led albums ive heard. Jaco has nothing on Patitucci IMHO, total command of the electric and the upright

John Patitucci - Remembrance

Rush - Moving Pictures

Check out the Stanley Clarke Original Album Series on amazon - 5 of his classic albums for a tenner!

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magick - fleas tone is killer on this, I spent years wondering why I couldn't get that sound from my Stingray until I read that he recorded most of it with a Wal!

All the early Four Tops/Marvin Gaye/Stevie Wonder stuff with Jamerson and Bob Babbet

+1 on Graceland and Chic.
I've been listening to "The Definitive Groove Collection" which is available for each of Chic and Sister Sledge.
Also:
Shalamar - The Ultimate Best Of
Gail Ann Dorsey - Rude Blue
Gary Numan - I, Assassin
Phil Collins - But Seriously
Paul Young - No Parlez
Paul Young - The Secret Of Association

Although I hated the film with every fibre of my being. The soundtrack from the film 'Mamma Mia' is pretty great when it comes to the bass tracks. I don't know if the actual music tracks are the same in ABBA songs but they're pretty good in that film.
