discreet
Flight Case Rack Butterfly Catch Problem I've got a 4U flight case rack with sprung butterfly catches identical to this one: The problem I've got is, one of the catches is now impossible to close. They are the type that have a very positive one-way action, then the 'butterfly' bit folds down into the catch tray to keep it out of the way. It became harder and harder to close and now I've bent the bloody butterfly slightly trying to close it. I have no idea why this should have happened - the lid still fits snugly. The other three catches are fine. Is there an adjustment I can carry out to fix this? Have you had this problem and if so what did you do about it? I thank you. discreet
Managed to fix this with a tiny, tiny drop of sewing-machine oil in the mechanism. Result!

discreet
Yes. Yes, I make my own dresses and balloons. Doesn't everyone have sewing-machine oil for their tuners? Shame on you!
