JustaBass
Have recently treated myself to an EBS Fafner 2 and Neo 212, are there any owners of this amp that could give me some suggested settings to try out. I am feeling a bit confused by all the possibilities in sound it has to offer (i.e too many knobs)

JustaBass
Thanks for suggestion i am obviously trying a few settings etc just wanted to pick some sounds that have been used too good effect. My playing is sort of groove rock and is mostly fingerstyle. So far i have been pretty impressed with what i am hearing and would like to get that slightly overdriven sound i have noticed on the dirty loop videos etc, getting that drive mix correct is proving difficult. JustaBass
Henrik in the Dirty Loops video is using an original Fafner isnt he? Theres no blend on that one.
Doh! your right...must be the way he plays or some serious compression, i really like that sound though. thodrik
I think that the original Fafner has some 'suggested settings' on the EBS website. You can maybe try those since I'm guessing that Fafner II has a similar voicing but with a lot more options.
