binky_bass Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 Hey guys, I got this old mock fender strat with what seems to be real fender pups and tronics etc. There appears to be some issues with the electrics... everything is there and all the wire hold a signal etc, so I'm guessing someones wired it wrong when added the aftermarket pups. It seems to play well when unplugged so I'd like this to be back up and running! I have a soldering Iron and the relevent stuff to do the repair, I just don't know how to do it! Paul S Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 Hi Russ I don't know where in Essex you are based but I use a guy called Chris Cutmore for most of my more technical stuff. He lives in Thundersley and if local he will collect and drop off free of charge. He also charges so little for his work it is barely worth doing it myslef unless I want to practice something!
