Bo0tsy
I can’t believe that there isn’t a thread anywhere on the web with some decent custom settings for the OS. So I’ve had a crack at it, the attached pdf are all my own, bar ‘Screaming Duck’ (which I found on rival talkbass.com – booo, hiss). Not sure how well this will come out as I’ve cut and pasted the settings from my excel document, so if anyone wants this in excel format please pm me and I’ll happily email you the attachment. Would love it if anyone else could publish some custom settings of their own too, so come on all you Chunk OS owners out there! Cheers. Bo0tsy
Thanks for this, looks good! I'll try putting loading up some of the OFX files and give it a whirl.
Bo0tsy
For any Chunk Systems Octavius Squeezer users out there, it looks like these pedal's are no longer in production . This site however, provides some great new patches, including the Paul Turner custom patches and (unreleased) new firmware....http://www.cgraham.com/chris/music/bass/octavius_squeezer/ - cheers Trevor. thisnameistaken
I still have my Squeezer on my board because it's just unbeatable for nerdy filtered-fuzz sounds, so I'm really sad to hear they've now abandoned it. I emailed Richard myself a few weeks ago to ask if he'd done any more development on the firmware but never got a reply. Thanks for that update on Gastric's page though. I've emailed him about the beta firmware.
Bo0tsy
Godlyke, (who are Chunk's US distributor) confirmed that Richard has put production of the pedals on hold pending a re-design or a new analogue multi-effect. Does this mean that the value of the Squeezer's will go through the roof like the Akai Deep Impact?! I love my Squeezer, possibly my favourite pedal on my board. Frustrating initially, (because of the complex interface), but the more time you spend with it the more you realise how great it can be for Synth, Filter, Fuzz, Filter Fuzz and Fuzz Filter. Ironically, the only thing it isn't great at is Octaver!
