Scooby Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 Bump for being away from 16 - 22 July - so either get it quick or be patient and wait until I return

Scooby Posted July 25, 2012 Author Posted July 25, 2012
one of my favorite!!!! bump for an amazing instrument!!!
Definitely an amazing bass - very clear, articulate sounds
Scooby Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 Just found the bass magazine with the review (June 2010 Issue 55) for this actual bass so I will include the magazine with the sale
Janvier Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 What a beauty! This has to be one of the most useable basses around. I love Gerald's work and, if I needed another Marleaux, this would be top of my list. A great bass for someone. Grab it quick!
Schnozzalee Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) I had a fretless one of these from Garbev, regretted shifting it - best bass of 30 odd!! Massively versatile (vintage tones included), super playable, no backup needed due to passive switch. The quest ends here. If I ever return to bass...no brainer. Value for money and solidly spanks a jazz no matter how old. Edited August 6, 2012 by Schnozzalee

Marleaux basses are superb with great playability - slim neck profile, comfortable and sounds that other basses can only dream about ;0)) There are a couple of trade offers in the mix but if someone wants to make me a cash offer then let me know.

Janvier Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 What!!!?? That's virtually giving it away! A bargain...
Thanks, Janvier! I'm not exactly 'giving it away' but at this price it is a bargain for a mint Marleaux bass. So, "roll up, roll up, folks and get your Marleaux here!"
Scooby Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 It's too hot to do anything but 'click' a mouse type of bump
