binky_bass
Hey guys, Got a Gibson j200 acoustic here (in Wickford, Essex) need some help! Can someone help walk me through what I need to buy (glue, epoxy, resin etc) and what I need to do to fix it, I'd be VERY grateful! It's a clean break right at the top of the nut. I'm on 07912222127 or at [email protected] If your local, then please do come over and lend me a hand coffee, tea and biscuits will be at your disposal if you do! And I'll thrown in a semi decent bottle of imported italian wine for your efforts. Thanks guys! Russ.

essexbasscat
What they said + 100. Joe White is a luthier I trust, but he's over T'other side of London + a bit down the M4
Mr. Foxen
Don't use epoxy, use something you can get rid of if it doesn't work. But taking to a pro is best. Clamping it is the main challenge, need to have it exactly in place and be able to clamp firmly, once that is sorted, exact type of glue matters less.
