andysg42 Posted July 12, 2012 Share Posted July 12, 2012 ive got an ebs td650,and im having a problem,just wondered if any ones had a simmilar one. conecting the lead into the amp,im getting a sizzling sound that cuts in and out somtimes with a loud crack,the sizzling sounds like aflat battery in a active bass,ive sent it back 2 the ebs u.k distrbutor 2 check out,who said they had fixed the problem,but it came back with the same problem,,£110 light of pocket and not fixed!!! i think its somthing 2 do with some of the jack inputs /loops on the back of the amp,as if i put a lead into them a wriggle the fault clears??but seems 2 come back a few days later?any ideas or if somone can recomend a good amp repair man within 50 mls of gloucester.... bristol /birmingham,loving my ebs amp and cabs but this amp problem is starting 2 annoy me now. any ideas please, thanks Andy. Quick and dirty solution is to plug a Jack-Jack cable into Send and Return effect loop. If this fixes the problem, you may start asking who can fix, or replace the jack.
