geofio Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) my latest purchase a rickenbacker 4003 2006, not a mark on it, tweaked the settings, tightened bridge screws, lowered pickup height and lowered action, scrubbed off the previous owners dna lol, new strings and she just sounds awesome!! what a bass!!! I borrowed one (from a work colleague) for a lunchtime and despite the bass being horrifically set up, that tone was there instantly. Jetglo finished get two thumbs up in my book. Nice one. P Quote
