Aqntbghd Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) As i don't play it that much, here is for sale (or trade) an old jazz bass heavily crafted by one of the best french luthiers (Bruno Perrin). The body is a Jim Harley 1990 Jazz bass, the neck has been de-fretted and customized brass nut. The pickups and electronics are from a 93 Fender US jazz bass (i've replaced my jazz's with EMG and preamps). The bass has strap locks fitted. This bass plays and sounds wonderful. It has some minor scratch marks on the top side due to an aggressive bag i had in the past (see picture4, the thing on picture 1 is the lightbulb reflection). It is a beauty hidden behind an unexpected appearance and i'm asking 120£ for it. For trades i'm interested in basses, guitars or studio equipment but i'm open to any good thing, especially if you have a washburn N2 guitar or a SWR 15" cab. and now some pictures : Edited October 3, 2012 by Aqntbghd
Aqntbghd Posted July 16, 2012 Author Posted July 16, 2012 Morning Bump. For those wondering i'm in cambridgeshire but i travel frequently to London and south of France.
Coljbass Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Hi, I'm quite interested. What make is the neck? Also, does it have a Jazz bass nut width or P bass? Thanks!
Aqntbghd Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 The neck is maker is "Jim Harley" but it has been extensively reworked by a luthier (de-fretting and surfacing). The nut is jazz size (i.e. playable).

[/quote] would you not make more selling it in parts and posting it out? I can understand why you wouldn't want to ship the whole bass but parts are less stressful.

A lot of players would be happy enough to reassemble it.

Aqntbghd Posted December 10, 2012 Author Posted December 10, 2012 I've replied. As i've said, i'm not yet convinced to do shipping, however if i do it, it will be first one to have pmed me to win
