waynepunkdude Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Last night I had a gig thrust upon me at the last minute, I had to give 4 people a lift now driving a Corsa I couldn't fit a proper sized bass in the car, as you may know I have just bought a shortscale for £41 which I have done up (thread here http://basschat.co.uk/topic/180690-mustangbronco-project/ ) Anyway I was astonished, it sounded great, £41 for a fully gigable bass, f*** me sideways, what a time for beginners. waynepunkdude Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 Thanks man. It has a great tone for such a cheap bass. Quote
lettsguitars Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Good un. Selfmade is always more rewarding. Quote

Lozz196 Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Amazing, that bass cost less than my beginner bass did in 1980 - and back then, the one I bought was the cheapest around (£45). I bet yours plays & sounds better than mine did as well. As said, great time to be a beginner. Quote
Roland Rock Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) You've turned a savaged m***er into a very cool looking bass. Great vision and opportunity seizure. The word m1nger seems to be censored because it contains the word m1nge Edited July 16, 2012 by Roland Rock Quote
