Dood
I've got a few items I'm putting up for sale over the next day or so, first of which is my other 4.5XL cabinet to that of the one I sold here http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1685376 recently. This model is much newer. I *think* it's a couple of years old and although has gigged has been treated very carefully in terms of volume. Like the other cabinet I have had a Speakon connector added as well as the jack sockets, so that it can be used with heads that use Speakon connectors too. I have also added four large rubber heavy duty wheels, but I may pilfer those for something else! (If i leave 'em on, it's a freebie, but they aren't cheap ones!!) So, cosmetically, the cab could do with the odd corner being 'fuzz busted', as the carpet has been roughed up a little. Some signs of carpet lifting edges, but nothing at all to worry about. I'm afraid I can't sell this one as cheaply as the first cabinet. However, you're still getting a tremendous deal at £200 Shipping would be difficult as it is a substantial cabinet with a monster large tone! I'd be happy to 'meet halfway' within reason and compensated for the usual fuel, sustinence, time, space blah blah. I'll get some pictures up soon, in the meantime, expect a reply or two with website links and specs on.

Stag
Ive said it before - best bass sound I ever heard live was 2x of these, and an SVT2 on top of it. Funnily enough it was Dan! lol Is this Kev's old one mate? If so then I can vouch for both of you looking after your gear well!
Dood
Hey mate! Thank you! It's so damn good I'm tempted to keep it, though downsizing to another in the XL range maybe appropriate. I really am gonna miss the ability of the cabinet though. More about the cabinet: The huge port as well as the midrange unit gives this monster the deepest lows and a great and very smooth top end. I do have a real hard time getting on with rubbish tweeters thrown in to bog standard cabinets! The 5" unit covers the sparkly top end of a tweeter but reaches down to meet the top end of the punchy 10"s. Something many tweeters fail to achieve if the woofer's high frequency roll off can't get up to the tweeter's low frequency roll off, leaving you with a gap in the response curve. That aside, these cabs rock a low B... Annnd a Low F#! and for 180 quid, it's gotta be worth it
Dood
Oh dear! It seems whilst stowed in my cupboard safe n' sound my moggy has been using one edge as a scratching post. It's not pretty and therefore I am knocking another tenner off the price. I may give it a day or so and withdraw the cab.
