Chris2112
I'm sure it was on the 'Best of Larry Graham and Graham Central Station' record, the one with this cover... There was a song, it was quite an upbeat groovy number where all the players introduce themselves. There was one thing that struck me as really strange, and I wanted to hear it again. The drummer puts on a faux-Asian accent and introduces himself as "Wenuoh" and says he is going to play the "wums" before doing a little solo. I've checked back through the itunes previews and I can't work out which track it was. I got rid of the CD copy I had years ago. Any ideas? Bo0tsy
It is a track called 'The Jam' - it's the title track off the Larry Graham & GGC Anthology I've got Some very funky good stuff on here, especially CD1, but I've never been overly keen on Larry's R&B type ballads (One in a Million You etc..) thisnameistaken
Choclat on her 'funk box' is the best solo in that tune.
Chris2112
Yes, so I discovered after finding the track shortly after posting this. My favourite solo would be the drum solo, though the hokey Chinese accent at the start is all a bit Love Thy Neighbour.
