Cracked it

Iv been working on the unison lick in Sir Duke on and off now for a while and tonight I put that final bit of work in and can now play it up to speed.

Rather ecstatic about it, this lick has been my demon for so long!! Ha x

Having to do the same for a new covers set! I can play it ok, but if I make one wrong note, I get lost and just wait for the rest of the band to come in lol.

Even though I'm dreading doing this one live, it's really fun to play

Cheers guys, I can feel my hands have had a great workout!! I want to add it to our set for the covers band as my guitarist has a roland gr55 midi thing he keeps wanting to play with. He can for instance turn it on and play that lick and a horn section comes out, its pretty cool!

I've just learnt the part from Jammin/Master Blaster (Its very similar, all pentatonics)

It's good fun to play, would recommend practising playing faster than the original unless you can be certain your drummer counts it off at the right tempo

Nice one! Well done, it's a great track. Just make sure who ever starts it doesn't start too fast! Now that will give you a work out!
